Vince Furey and Chris Olsen Win Sales Trailblazer Award at OpenClose

Mortgage Fintech Loan Origination Software Firm Receives Award Honoring its Sales Team

Congratulations to OpenClose’s sales team for closing out a banner year in strategic business development! Two key members of the team received PROGRESS in Lending’s Trailblazer Award:   OpenClose Chief Revenue Officer, Vince Furey, and VP of Sales Engineering, Chris Olsen. The annual award is given to mortgage focused sales/marketing professionals who lead the industry in benchmarks and accomplishments.

Vince Furey is credited with managing OpenClose’s record-breaking revenue in 2020. In particular, Vince overhauled OpenClose’s sales approach, honing the value proposition and arriving at key messaging for the company’s consolidated LOS-POS solution and RESTful API suite. Additionally, he led the sales team’s expansion by effectively recruiting and adding top-tier sales and business development talent, laying a solid foundation for OpenClose to capitalize on marketplace opportunities.

Chris Olsen, who works closely with Vince and the entire sales team, helped OpenClose further expand its footprint in LOS space for independent mortgage bankers, credit unions and banks. Since joining the company in 2019 as VP of Sales Engineering, Chris has been instrumental in supporting its growing team of enterprise sales executives. In 2020, he aligned closely with sales, marketing and also product management, resulting in a major uptick in lender interest, software demos conducted and ultimately new customer wins.
